Number 2 is very empowering.Joitskehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09087406142343521335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18223796.post-17538616532745345412008-02-28T15:27:00.000+01:002008-02-28T15:27:00.000+01:00Thanks Joitske for the post. A recent report from the Aspen institute (http://psdblog.worldbank.org/psdblog/2008/02/teaching-a-new.html) has also more ideas in terms of using web 2.0 tools in order to shift donor mindsets from one-off "feel good" donations to long term "social investments". Chris has written an excellent overview of other potential applications (http://www.crisscrossed.net/2008/02/01/a-network-of-ideas-development-20/#more-217) of web 2.0 in a development context. Also, if you go to delicious' tag "development 2.0", you can find a collection of examples and articles on this topic.<BR/>Ciao,<BR/>Giulioguglio1001https://www.blogger.com/profile/07177873820113859480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18223796.post-77047148913857582612008-02-06T20:27:00.000+01:002008-02-06T20:27:00.000+01:00Thanks for this great categorization. We are trying to get our organization to adopt more web2 tools and most of what is written is way to advanced for them, so this is a nice starting point.Stephanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08676392041586790853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18223796.post-63648080781295877072008-02-06T09:01:00.000+01:002008-02-06T09:01:00.000+01:00Thanks Gauresh, I didn't know that site. I would add the "information power" that development organizations can use feeds to get better information of what is written in all different fields of development. And universal standards such as RSS make it possible that in the ear future maybe some organizations will share their knowledge directly.Christianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15155682948256137053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18223796.post-46863763200363147172008-02-03T21:39:00.000+01:002008-02-03T21:39:00.000+01:00Joitske, I like the way of categorising for differ...Joitske, I like the way of categorising for different ways to organise Web2.0 tools.
